Insights is PrinterLogic's free SaaS reporting and monitoring product. The image to the left displays Insights as it appears when you log in for the first time.
If you are already familiar with PrinterLogic, and you are telling yourself that the Insights interface looks exactly like the Admin Console, you would be correct. However, there are some specific differences between Insights and the Admin Console. Insights has one default folder in the tree view. This folder, Discovered Printers, contains the first ten printers detected on the workstations where the PrinterLogic client is installed. In other words, first come, first served.
While you cannot create new printer objects manually in Insights, you can create service clients. The purpose of the service client is to enable Insights to communicate with your printers via SNMP settings you will configure from within Insights.
NOTE: The PrinterLogic clients you install on your workstations will not have an interface component attached to them. The client available in the full version of PrinterLogic will have an interface.
